*Reporter** Can you tell us about your journey at ATSA and how you began pursuing your chosen talent or discipline?

**KHAIZURAN**: My journey at ATSA started on February 28, 2021, when I was just 5 years old. My mother encouraged me to join ATSA Academy. From that day forward, I've followed my Master's guidance, whether at ATSA's training sessions or practicing at home. Despite being a child who loves to play, I always give my best during Taekwondo training.

**Reporter**: Describe the moment when you were announced as the winner of ATSA Side Kick Star 2023. What was going through your mind?

**KHAIZURAN**: Being announced as the winner of ATSA Side Kick Star 2023 was a shock and an exhilarating moment for me. ATSA has many talented friends, so winning was a pleasant surprise. I owe this victory to my dedicated Master, who never gave up on teaching and training us until we could perform well and follow the discipline of Taekwondo. I'll stick to that routine. I'd also like to express my gratitude to my parents, especially my mother, who captured my training moments. Training for the Side Kick was indeed challenging.

**Reporter**: How do you manage to balance your training with other aspects of your life, such as school?

**KHAIZURAN**: Balancing my training at this age isn't easy, and my parents play a significant role in supporting me. They've helped me train at home and ensured I could attend both on-ground and online ATSA training. During times like PKP and PKPD, the ATSA community provided valuable support with online training. After finishing my school homework, I'd warm up and practice Taeguks. I also followed the techniques in ATSA's Junior Grade Technique Handbook for revision. My parents emphasize the importance of getting enough sleep, which helps me excel in school and stay focused on my Taekwondo training and talent development.

**Reporter**: What message would you like to convey to the ATSA community and your supporters?

**KHAIZURAN**: First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to the Almighty God, Allah, and to all my ATSA Masters and Teachers, my parents, my friends at ATSA, and everyone who has supported me in my Taekwondo journey. As ATSA students, let's train hard, stay focused, show respect, and embrace this training journey together as a family. To excel in Taekwondo, we must train with dedication, maintain focus, embrace discipline, overcome our fears, and never stop learning. True mastery requires unwavering commitment. Let's always uphold the tenets of Taekwondo, respect our Instructors and Seniors, use Taekwondo for good, champion freedom and justice, and contribute to building a more peaceful world.

Every time I attend a training session, I make it a point to be fully engaged and attentive to the teachings of our coaches. I take careful notes, ensuring that I grasp every nuance of the techniques and lessons imparted to me. When I return home, my dedication doesn't waver. I put in hours of practice, tirelessly working to hone my skills and bring out the best in myself. This commitment to continuous improvement is something I hold dear.

**ESTHER NG**:When I received the news that I had been named the winner of ATSA Star 2023, my emotions were overwhelming. It was a moment of pure joy and gratitude. I couldn't help but reflect on the incredible support I received from those who liked and cheered for me. Their encouragement means the world to me, and I'm profoundly thankful for every single person who contributed to my success. 

**Reporter**:As the ATSA icon, what responsibilities and opportunities do you foresee in representing ATSA?

**ESTHER NG**:As an ATSA representative, I recognize the responsibilities and opportunities that come with this role. I am committed to giving my utmost in every competition I participate in, wearing the ATSA badge with pride. I aspire to not only uphold the values and principles of ATSA but also to contribute positively to the broader community of athletes and enthusiasts. I hope to represent ATSA in more competitions, striving for excellence and continuing to learn and grow as both a taekwondo practitioner and an individual. My journey has just begun, and I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

*Reporter*: Congratulations, ATSA Star Winner! Can you tell us about your journey in ATSA and how you got started in your chosen talent or discipline?

**SHELDON**: I was so thrilled to be accepted as student ATSA in January 2023 because i really wanted to learn self-defense, and that's how my journey started in Taekwondo. Being part of ATSA has been really fun. I've made friends, and together we help and learn from each other, which is great!

*Reporter*: Can you describe the moment you were announced as the winner of ATSA Star? What was going through your mind at that time?

**SHELDONn**: When i heard that i won ATSA Star, i felt incredibly surprised and beyond happy. it made me think about how much effort my mom puts in to support me on Facebook, my dad who helped to capture my winning photo and my Master for all the trainings. My gratitudes go to all who have shared and like my photo on Facebook, I am touched by their encouragement. 

*Reporter*: Beyond your talent, what are your goals and aspirations for the future, both within and outside of ATSA?

**SHELDON**: Looking ahead, i have big dreams. i would want to showcase my talent on the world stage, just like they do in sparring competition. So, i'm excited to work and train hard in ATSA to achieve my aims.

*Reporter*: Are there any individuals or mentors who have been particularly influential in your journey?

**SHELDON**: In my Taekwondo journey, I owe a lot to Master Damedran for his inspiring influence and meticulous guidance. He has been a fantastic mentor. Not forgetting teacher, staff and student in ATSA, I'm grateful for their support and aids.
